Environmental thinking

Produal Oy follows ISO 14001-based environmental management system, in which the European laws and the internal instructions of the company lay minimum requirements (e.g. ROHS-directive). We commit to improving constantly our activities in the environmental issues, and are acting according to the principles of the ICC Business Charter for Sustainable Development.

The principal purpose of our products is to improve the quality of indoor air in buildings and to save energy by controlling the ventilation and heating according to the demands. We are ready to the open dialogue about the environmental issues with authorities and other public.

Our personnel is educated and advised in following the environmental instructions and routines. The whole organisation and each employer are responsible for the implementation of the commitments. As a member of the PYR Oy (The Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd) and SELT ry (Electrical and Electronics Equipment Producers' Entity) we carry our responsibilities of the recycling and materials recovery of the packing materials and of the electronic components.

Activities

Our products have beed designed to be durable and to sustain harsh conditions In our development we especially pay attention to the quality, material choices and to the life cycle of the product. Our activities don't cause any harm to the countryside surrounding our facility and the direct environmental impacts are minimal.

Partners

The environmental aspects are always considered when choosing the supplier and we co-operate with the suppliers to minimize the environmental effects. Produal Oy encourages by its own example its partners to operate in a fashion that is environmentally favourable. We tend to fulfill our customers expectations and wishes concerning the environmental matters.
